Part No: PMACSCALE |
| |
The dynamic scale
loop is the Industry standard technique used globally as an invaluable research
and development tool for technologists responsible for the design, operation
and efficiency of water handling systems in which thermal, pressure or chemical
changes promote the deposition of scales.
The dynamic loop proves an
accurate, reproducible and rapid method for selecting and quantifying the most
effective means of controlling scale deposition under dynamic conditions. its
rapid screening of the performance of various scale inhibitors will aid the
selection of the most cost effective chemical. The PMAC Series of instruments
are designed to the specific temperature and pressure range conditions desired
by the client. Temperatures can range from ambient to 250oF and pressures up to
6000 psi as standard. Higher pressures are available. |

| A new innovation is
the addition of our HP pH cell monitoring the effluent discharge from the test
loop at pressures and temperatures up to 2000 psi and 175oF respectively. This
option can be retrofitted too most existing PMAC Systems. |

| |
 |
| The Field PMAC is an
online diagnosis system. It can be built for permanent monitoring of specific
water production systems/water treatment areas. This testing system is designed
for use in monitoring effects of any process changes, optimisation of dosage
rates of chemical inhibitor and to aid commissioning of water systems. |

|
Using the same
principles as the Laboratory PMAC system the Field instrument can be fitted
with a dynamic tube-blocking technique, or with PMACs' inline filter-blocking
system which allows clients to collect filtrate for subsequent analysis. Coil
temperature can be controlled in a custom built heating block. Systems pressure
is monitored either digitally or via sensitive differential pressure gauges.
For permanent installations continuous data logging can be fitted (see our
Engineering Capabilities).
PMAC Systems side streams are designed to
offer maximum flexibility to the operator and both of the above techniques can
be incorporated into a portable Multi-Functional Monitoring system: to include
bacterial and /or corrosion monitoring. |
