The PMAC GPS 50
current interrupter makes possible accurate measurement of energised/polarised
potential levels for Cathodic Protection System commissioning and monitoring
purposes.
It is an advanced D.C. current interrupter equipped with
independent satellite synchronisation features eliminating the need for further
manual attention. Given each interrupter is independent of each other there is
no need for recalibration/cross calibration; operating on internal batteries
for up to 3 weeks. Mains adaptors are available.
Easy set Operator
parameters allow weekly programmable switching cycles; with a switching range
of 0.1 - 100 seconds. The unit has inbuilt A.C. overprotection and is screened
against electromagnetic interference. its compact size (230x110x80 mm) and
weight (1.8kg) makes it portable and easy to mount within a standard
transformer rectifier. With the aid of an auxiliary "slave unit" currents up to
200 Amps can be switched.
PMAC have manufactured GPS based current
interrupters for a number of service inspection companies, such as CorrOcean
(Corrsat 50) and NECE (Skyhawk). |
