Part No: CHAND-4207 |
| |
The Model 4207D
digital control compressive strength tester is an automatic , electronically
operated hydraulic press. It is designed to test the compressive strength of
sample cement cubes in exact compliance with API spec 10 requirements.
Additionally with the broad flexibility provided by the new programmable
digital control circuit, the 4207D can be used as a general purpose load fame
for a variety of applications
The unit is used in laboratories in cement
research , cement additivers research and testing, cement manufacturers quality
assurance and in the filed labs of well servicing companies. |

 |
1) The actual press
(load frame) assembly and 2) The electronic control and hydraulic power
systems.
The Unit is of suitable size to be mounted on a normal
laboratory bench top. It can be used as a freestanding unit on the laboratory
floor.
Compressive strength testing of cement is necessary for a wide
variety of reasons: to verify the strength in a quality assurance program at
the cement manufacturers plant, to determine compressive strengths in
coordination with governmental regulations to ensure adequate cement slurry
strengths have been obtained in well cementing applications and to perform the
required tests to qualify the use of the API program on manufactured
cement. |

| Many measurements in
the past have been made with compressive strength testers that used hand
operated hydraulic pumps to generate the loading of the test specimens. Loading
with these hand driven units is unsteady, non uniform and do not produce
accurate results. The 4207D eliminates this uncertainty. |
