The Equilibrium flash
separator is used to measure gas oil ratios, relative volume , stock tank
vapors, residual oil gravity as a function of separator pressure and
temperature. This information is highly valuable in determining optimum
separator conditions.
The Model 2353 permits gas oil ratio and
shrinkage of determinations by the flash liberating or vaporization method In
normal use a subsurface or recombined surface sample is expanded from above its
bubble point pressure into the chamber of equilibrium flash separator at
controlled back pressure and temperature.
The liberated gas volume is
measured at atmospheric conditions with a gas meter., while the pressurized
liquid volume is read directly from the sample burette. The liquid maybe
drained and the gravity determined .
The capillary viscometer system is
designed as an integrated module for the model 3000 phase behavior system and
is mounted in the high temperature over between the sapphire window cell and
floating piston.
The capillary viscometer system measure single phase
viscosity. Control of the viscometers analytical parameters as well as logging
of the pertinent data and calculation of viscosity is performed by using the
Model 3000 proprietary software. |
