Instruments Ltd is a manufacturer of analytical instruments for use in the
elemental analysis sector.
These instruments include the Atomic
Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometer (AFS), UV/Vis
Spectrophotometers, and Microwave Digestion systems and VERSA liquid handling
systems for analytical,genomic, proteomic and drug discovery
applications.
Since the debut of the patented Capacitively Coupled
Plasma source at the 1991 Pittcon conference in Chicago, Aurora Instrument
products have been the subject of numerous journal articles, product reviews
and have been displayed on the covers of a number of publications including
Spectroscopy.
Aurora Instruments product have many established, unique
applications. One unique "element analysis" application is the analysis of
phosphorous in nickel and cobalt powders using the AI 2200 Plasma Emission
Spectrometer. A second is the determination of high temperature elements such
as Si and Al using the AI 1200 Atomic Absorption
Spectrometer’s spatially and temporally isothermal graphite
furnace atomizer.
